The story of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark is well knowned. Daniele Martini has taken the original Shakespearean text translating into music the emotions experienced in the careful analysis of the text. What emerges beyond the narrative path, is the emotional characterization, translated into music, the main characters of the opera. Hamlet Prince of Denmark and deals with the pain of the bereaved father. The mother in the meantime marries his brother in law claiming the crown. Hamlet living disdain for the family situation is to find out from the ghost of his father a painful truth: Claudius has killed his brother, the father of Hamlet, in order to usurp the throne. The ghost asks Hamlet to revenge. Then begins the dramatic story of Hamlet, full of anger from the heart, which will see him pretend to be mad and devise plans for revenge and deception while the characters at the court itself trameranno behind him. Intertwining of human dramas, madness, and murder that depart from Hamlet's beloved Ophelia also, to the death of the same. Hamlet is challenged to a duel by the brother of Ophelia, Laertes, but the duel, which is actually a trap to kill Hamlet, will end with the tragic death of all the protagonists.
